Jan is a graduate from the Faculty of Law at the Charles University in Prague (2003), he undertaken a research fellowship in Lunds Universitet (Sweden), successfully defended his thesis and passed the doctoral viva voce in the field of International Law at the aforementioned Faculty of Law in 2004. He is Attorney-at-Law since 2007.
Jan specializes in rights of trading companies, acquisitions, commercial obligations, Real Estate Law, Lease and sublease of nonresidential premises Law, incl., civil obligations, personality protection and Family Law. He also devotes a lot of time to a challenging agenda (representation in judicial proceedings), issues of damages, personal data protection, consumer protection, rights to a free access to information and primarily to representation of injured in criminal proceedings in the area of Criminal Law. His disciplines are also areas of International Public Law and the human rights protection.
